About

I’m an artist who works primarily with acrylic and wood—a combination that started unexpectedly with a single piece I created for myself. I didn’t plan to change artistic direction; I simply followed an instinct, tried something new, and felt an immediate connection to the process. What began as a small experiment evolved into a dedicated practice rooted in curiosity and hands-on exploration.

Wood brings its own history through grain, texture, and natural imperfections. Rather than conceal those features, I respond to them. Acrylic allows me to introduce transparency, color, and depth—creating subtle shifts in light and shadow that make each piece feel alive from different angles.

My palette is inspired by nature: the blues and greens of the ocean, the muted tones of landscapes, the grounding contrast of the night sky. These colors carry a calmness and clarity that I return to again and again.

What keeps me committed to this work is the joy I find in the making. The act of cutting, sanding, and layering acrylic is meditative—an invitation to slow down, trust intuition, and let each piece take shape in its own way.

Today, my work continues to evolve as I explore the balance between structure and softness, solidity and translucence. My intention is to create artwork that invites viewers to pause, notice texture and form, and experience a moment of reflection or curiosity.

Alongside my studio practice, I enjoy collaborating on custom commissions. Many collectors come with meaningful spaces, color palettes, or personal stories they want reflected in the work. Each commission is approached with the same hands-on process: every piece is cut, sanded, and painted by hand, ensuring no two works are ever alike.
